Complete door, motorised, with two remotes, photocells, fitting and VAT. Wood effect: about 55% more on the door. For comparison: the CYPE price generator costs an automatic extruded-aluminium roller door of 250×200 cm at €2,747 before VAT and without the installer's margin; in Spain, an aggregator gives €1,350 (galvanised steel) to €2,150 (aluminium) for 300×250 cm installed, plus €150–200 for the motor (habitissimo.es, 2026).
Both roller doors, both motorised. The difference is the slat.

Sectional, up-and-over or roller: it is almost always the space that decides.
Shelving, ducts, a beam or a low ceiling: the door coils up above the opening and leaves the ceiling clear.
It rises straight up, without reaching over the pavement or the ramp, unlike an up-and-over door.
With a ramp, an irregular opening or little side room, it is often the one that fits.
Workshop, storage, games room: with insulated slats, it keeps out more cold, dust and creatures.
A roller door has needs of its own: room above the opening for the box (or fitting it outside) and guides on each side. We measure everything before quoting.
Taken from conversations among people who already have motorised doors.
Every door has a manual release, and we show you how it works on fitting day. If after a thunderstorm the motor stops responding, do not force it: it is the control board, and it can be checked.
A known complaint with motorised doors: a damp wall button, cloned or universal remotes, interference. We supply the system’s own remotes and fit the button somewhere dry.
It depends on the slat and the lock. Steel is the most rigid and the braked motor locks the axle with the door closed; dedicated locks exist. We do not promise any door stops everything.
It changes who decides and what matters most.
Your box door is yours, but it sits in the shared garage. If the new one changes its look, the owners' meeting has a say: two thirds of the building's value (Civil Code, article 1422, no. 3). The main door of the shared garage is decided by the owners' meeting.
The garage is often part of the home, sometimes with bedrooms above. There the noise of the motor and slats and the insulation matter: that is where insulated aluminium pays off. We talk about it at the survey.
Short answers to what people ask while choosing.
For a 250×200 cm garage box, about €1,780–2,270 in steel and €3,390–4,310 in insulated aluminium; for a 300×220 cm house garage, €2,080–2,650 in steel and €3,870–4,930 in aluminium. Including motor, two remotes, photocells, fitting and VAT. Removing an old door is confirmed at the survey.
A sectional door runs along the ceiling and needs that space clear. A roller door coils up above the opening and leaves the ceiling free, which is why it is the choice when the ceiling is taken or low. In return it needs room above the opening for the box, or to be fitted outside. We check which fits at the survey.
Enough for the box the door coils into, which depends on the door height and the slat. Where there is no room inside, the box can go outside. We measure this before quoting, so there are no surprises on fitting day.
Every door we fit has a manual release, so it can be opened and closed by hand. We show you how on fitting day. If after a thunderstorm or a power cut the motor stops responding, do not force it: a damaged control board is a known case, and it can be checked.
Some people see them as less sturdy than a sectional door. It depends on the slat and the lock: steel is the most rigid, and the braked motor locks the axle with the door closed. Dedicated locks for roller doors are available too. We do not promise any door stops everything; we choose the slat and lock for your garage.
Steel is the cheapest and most rigid, but does not insulate. Insulated aluminium has 77 mm foam-filled slats: it keeps out cold and street noise, costs more and can have a wood-effect finish. For a storage box, steel is enough; for a garage used as living space, aluminium pays off.
It is a known complaint with motorised doors. The causes cited most are a damp or badly insulated wall button, cloned or universal remotes, and electrical interference. That is why we supply the system’s own remotes and fit the wall button somewhere dry.
In an apartment building, if the new door changes the look of the façade, the Civil Code requires approval by the owners' meeting representing two thirds of the building's value (article 1422, no. 3). The building's shared garage door is decided by the owners' meeting. As for the câmara, it depends on the municipality. We check your case at the survey.
Yes. Garage doors are covered by a harmonised European standard (EN 13241), and the manufacturer must issue a declaration of performance and affix the CE marking (Regulation (EU) 305/2011). We hand that paperwork over with the door.
No: we install new doors, always motorised. If your door is old or the motor keeps failing, the survey tells you whether replacing it is worth it.
Almost all of it. We need someone with the key at the survey and on fitting day; quotes and scheduling can be done by email and WhatsApp, in English.
