Aluminium isn’t for every home. It pays off in three situations. Do you recognise yours?
Large lift-and-slide doors that open the living room to the outside and glide with one finger, even with 3 metres of glass.
A glazed balcony and a slim frame that doesn’t steal the view of the city or the river. More light, less frame.
A minimalist anthracite line and the resistance that sea air, wind and strong coastal sun demand.
A narrow frame just a few centimetres wide, floor-to-ceiling glass, and doors that slide effortlessly. Where PVC can’t reach in size, aluminium can, with three systems:
The sash lifts as it opens and seals as it closes. For large terrace and garden doors, gliding effortlessly with no gaps.
Just a few centimetres of frame in view. Almost all glass, for anyone who wants the window to disappear into the wall.
The classic opening for airing and cleaning, with the perimeter seal and branded hardware that make the difference.
Large openings, sliding doors and minimal lines: what aluminium’s narrow, rigid profile makes possible.

Facades and large openingsSee portfolio → Powder-coated in any RAL shade, matte, textured or wood-effect, with the colour baked into the coating itself, not painted over the top. That’s why it doesn’t peel or yellow.
Classic colours (white, anthracite, grey) are included in the base price. Textured, wood-effect and anodised finishes carry a surcharge, always shown in the quote. The interior and exterior can be different colours.
Not any more, with a thermal break. The thermal break splits the frame in two and puts a polyamide insulator in the middle: the cold from outside no longer passes through the frame. With double Low-E glass, modern aluminium comes close to PVC and meets the Uw for your climate zone.
Aluminium without a thermal break, on the other hand, chills the wall and causes condensation. We don’t install it in homes.
We install both materials, so we have no interest in selling you the more expensive one. If your home calls mainly for thermal comfort and a good price, PVC is the smarter buy, and we’ll tell you that. Aluminium comes in when the opening size, the design, or the sea makes it worthwhile.
You’ve seen what aluminium makes possible. Choose the system, the glass and the colour, and see an estimate without giving your contact details. For aluminium, the final price is always confirmed after measurement.
Thermally broken aluminium (RPT), double Low-E glazing, fitting and removal of the old frames included.

Old aluminium without a thermal break, yes. What we install has a thermal break: the profile is split in two with a polyamide insulator in the middle, and with double Low-E glass it meets the Uw for your climate zone. We don’t install aluminium without a thermal break in homes.
For most homes, PVC insulates a little better and costs less. Aluminium pays off when you have large openings, a design requirement, or coastal exposure. We’ll tell you honestly which one suits your case.
An entry-level system with a thermal break runs about 30-40% above the equivalent PVC; premium systems with very slim profiles can cost 2-3 times more. That’s the price of slim frames and large openings. We give you the exact price per m² and per opening before you commit.
Yes, with the right surface treatment for a marine environment. It’s one of the reasons to choose aluminium on the Lisbon and Setúbal coast, such as Cascais, Costa da Caparica or Sesimbra.
Powder-coated in any RAL colour, matte anthracite, wood-effect or anodised. The colour is baked into the coating, not painted over the top, so it doesn’t peel. The interior and exterior can be different colours.
Yes, it’s where aluminium shines: large sliding and lift-and-slide doors, with expansive glass and smooth gliding that PVC can’t match structurally.
